“Postcards from Home” is an exploration of the beauty that surrounds us everyday: the brilliant colours of an autumn leaf, the acid green sprouting of a humble onion, a pair of old slippers. By closely observing the objects that populate her immediate surroundings, Anna Roos has created a kind of pictorial diary of the past year. The 111 postcards she has painted show that even if our frame of reference has been reduced, we can nevertheless revel in what we see around us no matter how unspectacular or ordinary.

All shops at Brunngasse will be open with lots of surprises under the event “Moonlight Shopping” in Bern.

New Opening
Viking is on the move again, from the 21th May 2016 we will be on the Brunngasse 46 and to celebrate the event we invited the Architect/Artist Joana LP from Portugal to exhibit her collection of drawings. The exhibition will be at Viking till the end of June. We welcome all our clients and friends to visit us on the Vernissage or during the opening hours Thursday to Saturday at our new location!

Danish Trees - Danish Chairs
Viking is also an art gallery.
From 19. November to 24. December we are proud to exhibit a collection of photographs and Image projection from Silvia Jenni.
Danish Trees were captured in Schlosspark Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, sorted by caracter and as Photofusion edited. The prints were done in collaboration with the Printshop Tom Blaess and are available in a small number of copies.
